This precept means that we should be remembered for the things we do. The things we do are the most important things of all. They are more important than what we say, or what we look like. The things we do outlast our mortality. The things we do are like monuments that people build to honor heroes after they've died. They're like the pyramids that the Egyptians built to honor the pharaohs. Only instead of being made out of stone, they're made out of the memories people have of you. That's why your deeds are your monuments. Built with memories instead of with stone.

This precept means we should be remembered for ever like when you go to live to another country and you leave your friends. Friends are friends because they like how you do thinks, no because your family is rich or famous.

I think this precept can mean two things. one of them is that you're deeds tell people alot about your personality and what kind of person you are.

These are two separate things and when you join your deeds are your monuments they both come up together like a monument is something which is a statue or to honor somebody or to be present. When your deeds are something good or bad something you do for the environment and also something you do for your self. If you join both of them together then they make a lot of sense like things you do for the others and they honor you it is kind of the same thing.

I think this means that when you"ve done something special it becomes even better. For example on a special days I sometimes make cards for my familly members and when they receive that they will feel really special. Also when you"ve done something for the world that was very special like helping some one or something the person or thing will be remebered or appreciated. Like when Terry fox the canadian runner run that long run for cancer nearly the whole world now runs for that man and for cancer.

I believe that dee you did a certain thing, and monuments ds are what people remember you by. They remember how you did a certain thing. And like monument, deeds have a lasting affect. They tell about you, just likr monuments.

I think this precept is about how you act this must mean when You do a good deed a new monument comes and if you do a bad deed a bad monument comes.for example if someone asks you to get something and you say yes that a good deed. If you punch someone in the face that is a that is what a bad deed is so i think this is what the precept means

I believe good deeds are you're monuments. Means that every good deed you do you will be a goods monument so that will be good in you're daily life. For example I clean up Dar Es Saalam that is one of my deeds that will stand out like a bright star. So a deed is a good thing.

I think this precept means that we have to be good, make good actions and be nice to people and that is how you will be remembered when you leave and if you are not no one will remember you because you were reach or something like hat you will be remembered by your good deeds (acts).

I think this means that your good deeds are your monuments and your bad deeds is something else but in all i think the saying is meant to be ' Your good deeds are your monuments' and then your bad deeds would be a bad monument!!!

i think it means that if we do our deeds them we will be remembered better, like being an honorable statue. it means being good, being remembered, helping for honor not glory! like special graves for soldiers that have been fighting for what they believed in, and u always see special stuff for them even if they died a very long time ago, they r still rememberd. i wish i would be rememberd with respect and love. one brick, one memory.

It is a difficult one. I think that it means, you can learn from what you have done in the past. I think this because when I was reading the picture I saw that A deed is something you did in the past (that is manly good). A monument is something you learn from.

I thinks this means that what ever your deeds are they become your monuments, so they become part of your personality ,and that shows if you kind hearted or a cold hearted person.
