Thank you so much to Ms Mariana who came into school on Tuesday to speak to us about nutrition and how we can make healthy choices with regards to what we eat.
On Friday 14th February the EPN are having their annual Friendship Duka. Remember to bring in a little bit of money on Friday (preferably in small notes). Also, you are allowed to dress in red, white or pink. Please remember that the whole idea behind this day is celebrating friendships and being kind and considerate towards one another.
Graphs and charts are great because they communicate information visually. For this reason, graphs are often used in newspapers, magazines and businesses around the world. You are going to use the data from your interviews to create your own graphs. Altogether you have 5 questions so you will need to create 5 graphs or charts. At least one must be a hand drawn bar chart and at least one must be a hand drawn circle graph but you can also use this website to create your own graphs and charts. This post is for the guided reading groups for "Artemis Fowl" and "The Phantom Tollbooth." Now that we have finished these books you need to write your own book review. You can see examples of book reviews here and here. When you look at these examples you will see that some reviews are far more useful than others. Think about this when you write your own book review and post it in the comments section below.
